What private should mean

Ask any firm these questions, and get the answers in writing. Where is the data stored? Who can see it? Is it ever used to train AI? Can it run on our own computer? What happens if we leave?

Also ask how people sign in, and who at the firm can reach your data. The portal we built uses an emailed one-time code instead of passwords, so there is no password to forget or reuse. If an answer is vague, treat that as an answer.

How we handle confidentiality

What never goes into AI is agreed with you during the audit, and the build enforces it. A person approves anything that is sent or changed, and the systems run in accounts you control.

Cloud or your own computer?

Running on your own computer keeps the data under your roof. Running on our cloud means less for you to look after. Which fits depends on how much control the family wants, and we talk it through on the first call.

Either way, the account logins stay yours, and nothing that matters is changed or sent until a person approves it.
