Get your bakery named on Google and ChatGPT
People ask AI things like “bakery near me with gluten-free birthday cakes,” and the answer comes from Google profiles, reviews and bakery websites. To be named, state plainly what you make, which dietary needs you can and cannot serve, where you are and how far ahead to order. Nobody can promise a mention, but vague pages rarely get one.

Be specific about dietary needs
Say what you offer: vegan cakes, nut-free items made in a nut-free space, or gluten-reduced with a note about shared equipment. Honesty about cross-contact matters. A false claim can harm a customer and your name.
Name your neighborhood and your lead times
Pages that say “custom cakes in Long Beach, order two weeks ahead” answer the exact question. A page that says only “Welcome to our bakery” answers nothing.
Also check that your name and address are written the same way on your site, your Google profile and delivery apps. Small differences confuse people and machines alike.
Measure it
A GEO agent asks AI engines the questions customers ask and records whether your bakery is named. It reports the real result, even when it is zero.
Picture this
Examples of what it can look like in a bakery. Illustrations, not clients.
A parent asks an assistant for a nut-free birthday cake bakery in Long Beach. Your page says what you can do, and is clear about your kitchen.
Your site lists wedding cake tastings and the booking steps, so an AI can answer “how do I book a wedding cake tasting.”
A check shows a competitor named in four out of five questions, and the gap points to a page you need to write.

Questions
Do I need to list all ingredients?
You need accurate allergen information where the law and your customers expect it. Ask your local health department what applies.
Can I pay to be listed?
No. There is no honest way to buy a mention in an AI answer.
What if I have limited dietary options?
Say so plainly. Customers are grateful for honesty, and it keeps you from fielding requests you cannot meet.
