AI marketing for architects: portfolio and content

Architects can use AI for marketing by turning real project notes and photos into case studies, captions, award submissions and short posts, all in the firm’s own voice. The AI drafts and a person approves. The aim is to describe the problem, the constraints and the solution honestly, not to invent a story.

Case studies from your own notes

The best project write-ups say what the site was like, what the client needed and what you decided and why. You already know this. AI can put your bullet points and photos into a readable page that you then correct.

Captions and posts

A project photo needs a caption, a short post and a line for the website. Doing three versions by hand is tedious. A draft for each, ready to edit, saves the evening.

Ask the client before posting anything that shows their home.

Submissions and proposals

Award entries, qualification statements and proposal project sheets reuse the same material in different shapes. Keeping one library of project descriptions means each new document starts from something accurate.

Examples of what it can look like in a architect. Illustrations, not clients.

You finish a courtyard house. You type a handful of notes about the narrow lot and the afternoon light, and get a first draft of a case study to sharpen.

An invitation to submit to a regional design award arrives. The project library produces a first-pass description in the format they ask for.

Every month a short newsletter goes out to past clients and referrers, with one project and one practical tip, approved by you.

Questions

Should I use AI-generated renderings in marketing?

Only if you label them clearly and they match what is real or proposed. Showing a visual as a finished project when it is not would mislead people.

Does AI copy sound generic?

It can. Feeding it your real notes and editing the result is what keeps it sounding like you.
