What is an AI SEO agent and what does it do?

What it does each day

First it measures: how many of your pages Google has, what people searched to find you, where you show up and how fast your pages load. Then it submits pages and fixes the problems that stop Google from showing them.

At the end it writes down what it did. A day only counts as done when all eight daily checks are met or a blocker is written down.

Targets set in advance

Before it starts, the agent writes dated targets, such as how many pages should be in Google after a week, a month and three months. They are targets, not promises. Their job is to make slipping visible, and if it falls well behind, it says so at the top of its report.

What it cannot do

It cannot promise you first place on Google. Nobody honest can, because Google decides. It also cannot make an empty or confusing site rank. New pages take time to be picked up, and a person still has to supply the facts about your business.

A person approves anything public, and anything the AI wrote is marked as AI-written.

Westward’s own numbers

On October 4, 2026, Westward was the second Google result for a search of its own name, behind another firm with the same name. That is the easy end of search.

According to Search Console on October 12, Google had 23 of our 37 public pages. Over the last 28 days our site appeared in 84 searches and got 8 clicks, at an average position of 7.3. We are not yet ranking for the searches strangers type. Our written target is the top three on three such searches by January 3, 2027, and it is a target, not a promise.
